Review Lesson 1: Ready, Set, Garden!

  1. The class length was good for the amount of material covered. For my own classes I only have 30 minutes to cover a subject and work in the garden. The video is great! I love Sqeaks. I think it cold be used in segments to cover various topics
  2. This would be good for second and third grades. I could work with first graders and maybe go more in depth with fourth, it would be hard to get it to work with kindergarten .
  3. The activities cover the topics clearly and thoroughly.
  4. I think it effectively covers the key concepts.
  5. Some ideas for related activities would be finding the cardinal directions. Learning where the sun faces the garden at different times of the year. You could go into season extension techniques with older kids.
