Join us for a FREE event on May 29, 2024 hosted by CalFresh Healthy Living Statewide Training and the Bay Area Nutrition and Physical Activity Collaborative (BANPAC). The Bay Area Promising Practices Summit in Oakland, CA, will concentrate on successful initiatives and practical tips for implementing food waste prevention, reduction, and redistribution programs in your community.

This inclusive event is open to all who implement physical activity, nutrition, or food security programs, offering a chance to showcase promising practices and resources. At this event, participants will have the opportunity to engage in demonstrations, attend presentations, partake in activities, and network with other attendees.

Will the event be recorded or slides shared for other SNAP-Ed agencies that are out-of-state?

It’s exciting that we are getting interest from our out-of-state folks! We will host the same event in a virtual format, and you are welcome to join. Once a date is set we will announce it on our website and here on the PLC as well :slightly_smiling_face:
