I recently started to purchase smaller amounts of food from the grocery store. I would normally purchase in bulk so I wouldn’t have to make multiple trips to the grocery store but it would lead to food going bad because it was too much food. Now I purchase smaller packages and am willing to make multiple trips so that I am only purchasing what I need in the moment.

By trying to eat everything before it goes bad and not over buying. I realized the number one item in our fridge that goes bad is leafy greens. I now try to think what meals I will use the greens in before purchasing them.
